I'm going to be a beer drinking hippie. :P

I'm going to dress up as a pear named Samsun, and I'll have one black eye because I recently got into a bad relationship after my previous wife left me. I loved her so much, but after four years of marriage she developed a taste for oranges and left me for another fruit. I met Julian at a mixer (get it?) and we started dating about a year ago. After she moved in with me though, things just haven't been the same... she started getting angry at me for little things, like leaving the toilet seat up or throwing her friend in a blender. Verbal abuse quickly turned to physical abuse. When I ask for candy this Halloween, I'll have to laugh and tell them I ran into a door, and I'll struggle to keep a smile on my face while deep down my heart weeps with loneliness and despear.

Or I'll just stay at home...

Though, Shiva is misrepresented often as having blue skin, when it is Krishna who is supposed to have blue skin. Shiva has a blue throat. Getting the stuff together for my costume might get a little expensive, since a tiger skin (or at least, an imitation tiger skin) will definitely be the most expensive item.
