So whats the consensus on Zombieland?!

I won tickets to the advanced screening on Wednesday as it only starts this Thursday in Australia.

They gave out free ice-cream which was pretty uh sweet (he-he). The biggest failure was when the director had a pre-recorded message on the screen before the movie except there was no sound lol!

Anyway: I thought the movie was a bit of fun. Plenty of laughs, as dumb as they might have been. Not quite as great as the first half of Shaun of the Dead but it was okay for an evening.

It wasn't as funny as it should be. Shuan of the Dead was way better.

It was okay. Woody Harrelson was the only good part though, the kid and the two girls were pretty dull. The zombie action also wasnt great. Dead snow, pontypool, and Shaun of the dead are much better.

I liked Zombieland a lot more than I liked Shaun of the Dead, which I think was just too "British" for me. I'd give Zombieland a 9.5/10.

It was a good movie...some funny parts..i'd say...9/10..

I agree! I had a sort of co-op feel to it!

It was okay. Woody Harrellson was hilarious, but it didn't make good enough use of the 'rules' that the protagonist made up. I feel it would've been funnier if they continued down the vain of revealing his zombie-survival principles. It ended up being a wannabe Shaun of The Dead with Woody Harrellson (and Bill Murray) carrying it for the most part.super_mario_128

pretty good but short

6/10. Boring. Barely any zombies. No actual plot, but follows the "growing up"-plot cliche. Not funny unless you think whiny, semi-awkward teens are funny. Overall it was too short to be developed, and too "hip and cool" to actually be funny. There's about 5-10 minutes of zombie action at the end of the movie, and Woody Harrelson is one of the few funny characters, so they sort of redeem it.

I liked it alot. It kind of felt like "Left 4 Dead - The Movie" to me, which probably just added to my enjoyment.
