For me it's a toss-up between Rush and Aerosmith...
I also like Boston, Guns 'N' Roses, and Queen (2nd place tie)
3rd place is probably Nickelback, Metallica, and Black Sabbath.

Bob Dylan is the best ever ever ever ever ever ever ever. In my book at least. I enjoy all kinds of music though. I like A fine Frenzy as well. Adam Green... I have never met someone who knows who Adam Green is though...Diablo112688I know who that is...He has a similar sound as Dylan. Not a big fan of folk, myself. But I still take interest in it because I see the talent it takes to make music both of those artists produce.

If you play music... the music becomes something else all together... you really understand what it takes from a technical standpoint at the very least.
Yay! Another Pink Floyd fan! I completely agree with you on this one, Gabu. :PNo one makes music quite like Pink Floyd makes music.

Yep that's them! They were the biggest musical surprise I've ever come across; I found them by accident while watching Curve videos on youtube and almost instantly fell in love with them. I love that they were included on Rock Band 2 so people who would have never heard about them can listen to how great they are.

I'd argue he's heard many of those artists but didn't know about it. Everybody has heard The Cranberries ZOOOOOOMMMMBIIIIEEE song and that Blur song that is only fun after a team scores and the whole crowd sings along for the WAAAHOOO part.

I loved their last album Hazards of love. If you like them you should check out Mountain Goats, their lead singer writes some of the best lyrics around. This is a song of theirs:D

Kinda like aha and Take on Me, it's an extremely annoying and horrid song imo, but they have a lot of other great stuff.
Velvet acid Christ, Psyclon nine, the Birthday Massacre, and Pride and Fall.

Hey what did you think of The Art of Breaking Apart? The vocals took me by surprise a fair bit.

Wow. You did not just call out Take On Me did you?:P I love the song and especially the video.
I have way too many to name but I'm just going to go ahead and say Steve Vai, Opeth, Kreator, Megadeth, and Porcupine Tree for now. But really I am going through my whole library again and I am just loving everything in it.

Ugh I can't stand it. Such an annoying song. It nearly **** myself whenever I hear the intro come on and make sure it goes away.
