Like as in, "I don't have a valentine this year..."
Or randomly bring up that "I'm going to just spend Valentine's day with my sister..."
When a girl brings things like this up... What does it mean.
Also when she asks if her thighs are too big?

If she actually asks you out, then look right through her and replyGot it
"get in line" motioning to other nearby women. If she tries to kiss you, then run. Tell her you need to "go to the gym, per usual."Meinhard1
She thinks it's a dude's responsibility to ask the girl to spend V-day with a girl. She is to cool to ask you, so she wants you to ask her.Like as in, "I don't have a valentine this year..."

Also, she doesn't care about her thighs being big. She just wants you to be inbetween them. Go get her tiger.

I agree with the gist here, but I wouldn't say she's necessarily "too cool to ask." If she really wants to go out with you, she may persist and even ask you out but.... ... it's a lot more attractive if you go out on a limb and ask her. It shows a backbone / self confidence. Of course, it may be a bit reckless and risky to go ahead and simply ask her out. Plan the conversation leading up to it, so you can examine signs as you go. e.g. Direct conversation to her Valentines day plans with her sister. (Is she listing concrete plans enthusiastically, or does she sound vague?) Talk about what your favorite restaurants are. If she's interested in you, you should be able to find cues in these sorts of conversations. But, again, try to be the one to ask!Like as in, "I don't have a valentine this year..."

Assuming she's your friend. You shy or something? Just throw a comment like "Well I'm also free on that day. Hey, whacha think of spending it together?". Make it sound sarcastic. Good luck.

I'm her friend, I kind of just ignored it and processed it. Deciding whether or not to strike, and when to strike. I'll strike, just figuring out how. And when. Perhaps Thursdays, perhaps closer to V-day. I'm still trying to figure out if she likes me or not, i'm not good at picking up signs when they seem to be directed at me.I'm still trying to figure out if she likes me or not, i'm not good at picking up signs when they seem to be directed at me.

Um, dude. Seriously, whether she likes you or not won't change solely on your response to her comment. She won't go from "not into you" to "totally head over heels" based on that perfect moment you decide to strike on (and if she does, I'd say stay away from those types because they're oppurtunistic).
Â
Just strike anytime. Didn't come off well? Fine, let's move on. You'll find the one sooner or later. There's more to life than that. Good luck.

Perhaps Thursdays, perhaps closer to V-day. I'm still trying to figure out if she likes me or not, i'm not good at picking up signs when they seem to be directed at me. She'd like you to ask her out. So do so. (I had the same problem.) Be casual, "you know, I was thinking we could get together on Valentine's day." And give her a card, cute but not mushy, but not stupidly funny either.1. If a girl/woman ever makes reference to any part of her body, or her weight, an immediate answer should be "You look great/wonderful/beautiful".
2. If there is more than one hint about Valentine's Day, ask her out. But be prepared to drop some cash and wait in long lines fo dinner, if you go that route. V-Day is terrible for such things.
3. Be creative with V-Day if you can. Dinner, movie, cholcoates, all of that is old hat. A girl will like you more if you put a little effort into whatever plans you make.
