Wouldn't you know it? The very next thing I try searching has the answer. :P

Blue collar workers are just as important as college graduates.45% in Canada. I would have guessed much higher, but I guess a lot of people quit/fail.

I'm sorry but that was a pretty failed attempt at either sarcasm, humor, or trolling.
Its dumb government policy to encourage everyone to go to university, some people just aren't suited to it in the first place and there's no shame in doing something vocational.Memberino
My thoughts exactly.
College is a great way to learn more and get a higher paying job but when it comes down to it if you own your own business then it really is slightly pointless. Look at Bill Gates and many other people who never graduated college but made a good living for themselves. I think if you are not the small business type then go to college because you will have a hard time getting hired without it but if you want to run a business then I think it is more learning from experience than anything. primeeliteLet me name a few college drop outs: Bill Gates, Paul Allen, Mike Lazaridis, Steve Jobs, Larry Ellison, Michael Dell. However, for every one of these guys, there's 1000 (or more) who are not nearly as successful (this is an understatement) because they DIDN'T go to college. So the moral of the story is...go to college.
