As the title states, who saw it? I saw it last night and thought it was amazing. Who agrees?

I thought the trailer looked pretty "meh", but seeing how it currently has a 93% rating on RT, I might have to check it out. yabbicoke
Its a mix of Heat and the Departed.
Overall its a great movie. The heist scenes are pretty intense.
The story keeps you interested, and it doesn't just drop towards then end. I think that's the problem with a lot of movies nowadays. The movies will start out good, and then just suck. Good thing this movie did the opposite.

So this movie sucked in the beginning and got better toward the end?

No i was just saying that most movies are good towards the beginning and suck at the end. This movie is good straight through.Saw it yesterday. It was really gripping and suspenseful. To me I think it's the second best film this year.
Im going to see this movie tomorrow, then next on my movie list is going to be "Stone" with Edward norton 8)
I thoguht it was awesome with the exception of the Romance plot. Pissed me off. Nearly ruined it for me. Why the hell does every movie need to have those?
Nah I thought the romance was well placed.I thoguht it was awesome with the exception of the Romance plot. Pissed me off. Nearly ruined it for me. Why the hell does every movie need to have those?

Same here. Plus it actually added to and helped move the story along.
Saw it yesterday, and while there was one or two things that really were hard to swallow, I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Probably will go see it again at some point. Affleck's come a long way since Gigli.

Like when..
Renner's character turned around and shot immediately, then showing Hamm jumping behind a car and not getting shot once. Then he starts shooting at him while he's running around the car. Come on, you're telling me that he couldn't have shot him? Yeah, okay.
SPOILERS below. Glitchspot at its finest, not allowing spoiler tags for some reason...

Yea, that was a bit ridiculous. He wasn'tshown even carrying the TEC-9 while walking until he turned and fired. I had issue with these:
-after the firefight with SWAT dressed up as EMTs, they simply swapped costumes into police officers and walked away. C'mon, that entire area would be under lockdown for blocks and everyone checked, especially since Hamm knew that the cash room had been stuck up by someone dressed as cops.
-only four gaurds watching 3.5 million and the ease of access to the money. I find that a bit hard to believe.
-Hamm was obviously on to Doug and his crew, and would have had 24/7 surveillance on all of them like flies on ****. It didn't really matter in the end as Doug's ex ratted him out, but still....
-and little things, like firing an assault rifle full auto with one hand while leaning out a car window. Yea right, that thing would be flying all OVER the place in real life.
End SPOILERS.
Other than that, I loved it. It's been too long since a good heist movie.
What Ben Affleck is telling me is the fact that he is a better director than actor. I cannot deny his directorial abilities thus far. His acting career however... Every main character in The Town did a better job than he did in their acting realm. I think the movie would have benefited from either having a different main character or just having him switch with a different roll for the movie. The movie is good stuff. Not the best I've seen, but certainly not bad at all. I might have to buy it.
