Back then Lunchables carried soda. Today's Lunchables now carry spring water and Capri sun. What the hell happened? Did health nazis bitch and moan about kids getting fat? I want Lunchables to carry soda again? 2003: 2013:

That soda looks gross. Like a cheap brand soda. Only acceptable sodas are Cactus Cooler and Squirt anyways.

I've never seen Lunchables with soda, water or any other kind of drink. Then again I haven't ate Lunchables since like 6th grade.

I don't understand what's makes people think fruit drinks are any "healthier". Macro and micro nutrients are nutrients regardless where they come from. Soda is a great source of simple carbs for those that live an active life style

I'll just take your word for it. To me, they don't look very tasty--or even filling, for that matter.

Capri Sun is friggin awesome, but I agree this "REBRAND EVERYTHING AS HEALTHY SO YOU FEEL LIKE A GOOD MOM GIVING YOUR KID PROCESSED CRAP, BUT WITH A SMALL BOTTLE OF WATER AND A FRUIT CUP" trend is ridiculous. I just want fake meat, fake cheese and cardboard pizza crusts for lunch okay? F*ck your fruit cup.

They're not. I loved them when I was younger, but I tried eating one the other day and not only was it not very good I would have had to eaten like four of them to feel full (and I'm not a big guy at all).

Mouth is watering.

Processed stuff in prepackaged plastic casing never tasted so good.

I can remember trying them once or twice when they first came out, only due to my Ma buying some, but never really caught on due to the high sodium content. I also have never seen any with drinks in them, just the crackers, cheese and meat of some sort variety.

it's funny, those things resemble nothing of what a real pizza is, yet they're scrumptious. i liked the cheese n crackers one the best tho. the hot dog one was the absolute worst variety i've tried, and the nachos were pretty bad too (gross ass cheese n salsa)

and on-topic: i've never seen any lunchables w drinks in em; must be a new addition? i do remember some had bite-sized chocolate bars or smarties...they still have those around?

That reminds me of this girl in my kindergarten class that always put the chocolate and m&ms meant for the "dessert" pizza on her regular Lunchables pizza.

The only lunchables I ever got were the ones that didn't have a drink because they were way cheaper. Like the ones that were just cheese crackers and turkey. My mom would also give me chips and a water bottle or something.

And in the meantime have all these public figures like NYC mayor Bloomberg and First Lady Obama going around telling kids to eat carrot sticks and broccoli, while they're getting fed wholesome and very expensive food that isn't processed... by your tax dollars. This is the price of overpopulation: either massive starvation or unhealthy processed "food" that's comprised of who knows what.

Remember when Obama lied to some kids and said his fave food was broccoli?

No, because almost everything he says is a lie. It's hard to keep track of all of them.
