Soft music

If you know the song This place is a Prison by The Postal Service then you know what i mean by soft music. Does anyone know any other songs that are similar to this in the sort of soft melancholy feel kinda way?

I've never heard of that group, but if you're looking for fairly melancholy music I would suggest Anathema's newest albums.

This is a great acoustic version of one of my favorite songs by the band.

Postal Service fan here, you should listen to Tamborello's other work ( Postal Service DJ) Figurine and Dntel, here have sneak peak i actually like his solo work better :3 Look in youtube for a song called Stranger by Figurine hope you like it

The Death Cab for Cutie resemblance maybe because the main singer is the same from The Postal Service; Ben Gibbard. :o

I recommend Elliott Smith, The Microphones, Neutral Milk Hotel, Iron & Wine, like mentioned, is a great choice, and so is Mount Eerie.
