Ok so I installed the new update and now whenever I click on something and open it in a new tab it puts the new tab after the tab I have open. So if it that means that I have 5 tabs open and I am on the second tab and open something in a new tab then it puts is as the third tab instead of the 6th tab. I like it to go at the end. How do I change it back?

I don't use firefox, but I'll offer some common sense: Did you look around in the tab options? If you don't like it, use safari. It's like firefox, but simpler and faster and nicer.

I've noticed that happening as well. I dont know how to fix it, I can see why they would do that, but I prefer it the old way. I don't know how to fix it.

My new firefox update has been **** to say the least. It's been crashing like crazy and sometimes it will hang and not respond while I'm not doing anything. At first I thought it was my pc which had been perfectly fine before the update was causing the problems so I took off my overclock on my CPU and realized it was only firefox. IE has been serving me a lot better, but this sucks because I still dislike IE.

hm, I haven't had any of those problems.. you may want to uninstall/reinstall, maybe that would help? or look for an older version of Firefox online?

It was part of the 3.6 update, the only way you can change it back would be to a previous version. They did it so your tabs would be more organized.

Actually there was a pretty significant performance increase... Maybe one of your addons is slowing it down

I'm not sure why they changed that. I'm used to a new tab being added to the end. My screen fits 19 tabs across, so when it slots one in somewhere, I cannot find it immediately.

* type "about:config" in your address bar.

* search for "insertRelatedAfterCurrent". The full config is "browser.tabs.insertRelatedAfterCurrent".

* Set it to "false" (just click it until it toggles).

While they make changes that don't always have an option to turn it back in the options menu, there's nearly always an about:config solution.
