something weird happened to me today...

ok so, im friends with alot of girls who have boyfriends (no, this is not a girl help topic), so naturally, i get alot of threatening phone calls. a few nights ago, i get a threatening call from a girls boyfriend claiming to beat me up for talking to her. I tell him that I have no interest in the girl, and he believes me. When i tell him that I get calls like these alot because I have alot of friends who are girls, he goes "oh so you must be some kinda queer or something right?" So i tell him no. I explain to him that, just because I have alot of female friends, it doesnt mean that I am gay (im really not interested in men). He then laughs at me for "attempting to hide it," to which i reply, "you know, most of the time when someone makes fun another person and calls them things like gay and homo it means that they, themselves are infact gay but they are hiding it by making fun of others. like because they are ashamed of it." he then replies "oh.... hmmm.... ok" before hanging up

today, I get a phone call from the guys girlfriend, saying that he broke up with her. when i asked her why, she said it was because he realized that he was gay apparantly I flipped this guys world upside down.

so, what's OT's take on this?

meh. i dont mind being in the friend zone. i dont really like any of my female friends in THAT way (well, most of them anyway)

i think youre the guy on the phone who got talked out of the closet and you figured you would tell the story from a different point of view to throw everyone off your trail because you really wanted to hear what people would say because your life has changed so dramatically and so suddenly that you are desperate for any kind of advice.
