Something weird just happened.

I was in bed five to ten minutes ago. I have a desk with a small detachable lamp connected to it on the right side of my bed. I saw a small flash; it was the lamp. I went over to it and put my hand on the bulb. It blinked three or four times again. The lamp is unplugged. How did it blink on its own?

Does anyone have an answer? Has something similar happened to you?

I remember once taking a battery out of a faulty fire alarm which was beeping. It didn't stop until i unscrewed the whole thing out of the ceiling after a couple of minutes... (This actually happened)
