lol i dont have many sad songs so that has to be my favorite, plus it was what came off the top of my head. But I like that song for when im just a little tiny bit depressed.
Raining Blood? Lol jk.
I don't listen to music when I'm sad. But if I did... uh... Stairway to Heaven?
Most of the time, its Christian rock ballads. However, these are also good choices:
Alice in Chains - Rooster
The Doors - People are Strange
Goo Goo Dolls - Better Days
U2 - Beautiful Day and Sometimes You Can't Make it On Your Own
The Who - Behind Blue Eyes
The Beatles - Yesterday
Led Zeppelin - Stairway to Heaven
Metallica - One and Fade to Black
Mudvayne - All That You Are
Breaking Benjamin - Forget it and Sooner or Later
Guns N' Roses - Don't Cry, Patience, and November Rain
Eric Clapton - Further On Up the Road and Layla
Korn - I Will Protect You
Generic Metalcore seems to make me feel better.
So, pretty much anything by (Early) As I Lay Dying, All That Remains, or Shadows Fall.
"The Maker Makes" by Rufus Wainwright
"How to Fight Loneliness" by Wilco
"Northern Sky" by Nick Drake
Beethoven's 14th Piano Sonata (Moonlight)
Mozart's Quintet in A for Clarinet and Strings
Orchestra version of Nearer My God to Thee
Congradulations I Hate You- Alesana
Theres No Penguins In Alaska- Chiodos
The Skies Were Filled With Fire- Suffokate
