it probably wont be good. And the only reason DBZ was good was becuz of its fights and Vegeta. The story was weak sauce and most of it was just nonsense.
and I love DBZ, but even i know the story was throw away.
Neat! Will they turn it into another animated series featuring entire episodes of nothing but a guy charging up with his face contorted into an expression of extreme constipation?

It makes it all the more satisfying when the attack fires though!
[QUOTE="Fightingfan"]Who does the art work for DBZ and dragon warrior/quest? AcidTango
Akira Toriyama. He also did the artwork for Chrono Trigger as well.
I have one of his games in Japanese for the NES(Japanese version), but can't read Japanese :P I just know it's the same artist by the artwork.I couldn't get into any of the Dragon Ball series. All the episodes were just yell, fight, more yelling, and more fighting.
That's the best part!Neat! Will they turn it into another animated series featuring entire episodes of nothing but a guy charging up with his face contorted into an expression of extreme constipation?

Yeah, they extended a LOT in the anime to make enough time for the manga to be written. Filler for filler's sake I guess. Like said DBZ Kai cut a lot of that stuff out, and would definitely be worth a time investment in.I couldn't get into any of the Dragon Ball series. All the episodes were just yell, fight, more yelling, and more fighting.

Maybe in the Dragon Ball Z(Not in Kai but in the original series) anime but never the original Dragon Ball which had a lot of adventure and also fighting.
Dr.Slump was amazingMonsieurX
Never had the chance or watching the anime since it was only in Japan. I only knew about it because of the original Dragon Ball and I would go to the internet to see what it was all about such as videos and stuff. I know there was also a remake of Dr Slump as well. But another anime of Toriyama's work that I use to watch was Dragon Warrior/Quest: Legend of the Hero Abel.

The Dragonball Z season are all similar in plot progression. With some details in between each event like humor, starting from the first episode of Dragonball Z there is peacetime, fighting, and adventure and training then a climax with the exceptions of season three, eight, and nine. Season three and eight begin with adventure and lead to long battles. Season nine starts with a climactic event which to fighting and training mixed together. Some viewers say the show is constant fighting, but they are wrong. There is a great amount of fighting in proportion to the other events in Dragonball Z and other anime in general.[QUOTE="AcidTango"][QUOTE="PonchoTaco"]

And when you compare Z to the original Dragon Ball, it had less adventures and everything. Like how Goku and his friends would take a journey in finding the Dragon Balls while in Z they just find them right away. Don't get me wrong, I agree with you that the show wasn't all about yelling and fighting but there many parts that did drag on. But still I did like Z alot (except for the Buu Saga)
