I just found it kinda funny. Tonights episode had an allusion to how easy it is to get today's youth to respond to problems in the world (because of the Kony video), and they made a joke about Syria using the Talking Dog video. Ironically, the first thing I see on Off Topic when I get on was a post about Syria.

syrian people are being killed over a power struggle between a few sides,arab league,iran,syrian regime,russia/china and the west with isreal being confused about what position to take.

Same thing as what happened in Libya except less organized. Considering what wonderful friends of the US Syria has always been, I can't say I'm too concerned.

I still have yet to learn what **** some people smoke when they think that only a dictator's regime can keep a country together. Especially when the said dictator(s) sets up the very circumstances for an eventual power vacuum.
