The main comlaint I've heard is that the plots too unfocused...it's switching from Sandman, to Spidey, to Venom, to Harry (does he take up the name hobgoblin?), to the love triangle between Pete, MJ and Gwen Stacy and it's a bit of a mess. I heard the same things with Syriana and I liked that a lot, the plot was certainly not linear, but it made sense if you went in with your attention ready, and I expect to see the same thing with Spiderman.

Regardless of any reviews, I'm going to see it tomorrow with a big bunch of friends.

The last two movies were ok, not great or anything, but for some reason this one was hyped to be a world beater... made no sense.nickmag

OK, before anyone thinks Spider-man 3 sucks. Go see it. BUt also, read the reviews. THe bad ones sound so rediculous and really don't appreciate the history of Spider-Man. One guy calls Dr Octopus as the ocotpus man and another thinks that symbiote is a bad plot device, though people want to see and it and it is cool to see venom. ALso another thinks the last Batman and X-men movies sucked. So don't pay attention to them.tenorio_rotc

Topher Grace is way too scrawny for Venom. They always made fun of his scrawnyness on That 70s Show

i liked batman begins the best out of the three:

a lot more reviews will be out tommorrow so till then 65% doesn't say much. And TBH, one of my favorite movies got a 67% from rotten tomatoes. There were critics that loved it and critics that didn't, much like any well done movie. Very few movies have all positive reviews. In fact, I can't even think of one. Some people enjoy it more than others, that is a given. eo12601
