When I first saw this, it was paired with another picture. It's weird but I can't get her to spin counter-clockwise without the other pic.

i only see clockwise, what i am missing? :?

Ah that helped. When I focued on only the shadow I can see the change in direction.

Why don't you ask her?

it don't matter at all....its just the fun of seeing her spin in one direction andthen seeingher all of a sudden spinning in the opposite direction. its like...."wait wtf just happened?" lol pretty cool if you ask me.

Fun fact: 'She' goes counter-clockwise for 90 degrees, then clockwise for 180 degrees, then finally 90 degrees counter-clockwise.ff7fan2

Yeah watching only the shadow reveals it never goes beyond 180.

Is the illusion that it is hard to find her going anything other than clockwise? And I am supposed to somehow find her going the other way? Its not like her body is symetical the whole time.

heres another neat rick you can try..."blur" your eyes so you get a double image of her.i actually just thought of that and tried it and itwas pretty freaky and neat at the same time cuz the "left" image was spinning left to right and the "right" image was spinning right to left =O

I don't see the illusion here. She's turning counter-clockwise. I'm looking at the shadow, the heel, closing my eyes. Its the same thing for me

Whoever said close your eyes and imagine her going the other direction and open your eyes again, you're right on the money. I was able to switch the illusion back and forth in between blinks.

Before seeing that it could actually go both ways a few months back, I was convinced it was a scam.

I tried my best to see anti clockwise but the spinning face makes it impossible to do so.

I thought there was some scam, so I dissected the image with Image Ready but it is actually your mind playing tricks on you :P

I have no idea what you guys are talking about, she only spins clockwise. I feel like I was just trolled by a bunch of people who thought it'd be funny to make me stare at the image for awhile.Acemaster27

I was feeling the same way, but then I closed my eyes and tried to force myself to imagine her spinning counter-clock wise. When I opened my eyes i only looked at her feet first, and somehow she is spinning counter clock wise. Took a few tries after getting really frustrated. I think It's on a timer though to change it's direction....

Byl ooking at her shadow, where her feet are, you can change the direction she spins.

Well after a lot of frustration I mastered it. Basically I focus on her toes and notice that she only moves 180 degrees from left to right with her foot facing away. when her foot reaches the side I want her to spin I wait for her foot to turn to that side then quickly change my glance to her raised leg and she spins in that direction and vice versa.

It spinned anti-clockwise for me. I found a solution for anyone who is having trouble making her change direction

I like to share the method I use to see her spinning either way:
1. Look at the spinning lady,
2. Tilt your head to one side (eyes almost touching shoulder) when her leg is in her leftmost or rightmost position
3. Magically the spinning reverses.

I'm only seeing clockwise lol...I only saw counter clockwise when I stared at her stationary foot.
