The world is coming to an end. Seriously, this has been the most ridiculous weather ever. Do you agree?

Yeah, it was really cold down in Houston over the weekend. And we got snow twice over the winter. Something which only happens once every 6 or 7 years lol.
Pretty weird weather this week where i'm from too (Liverpool in the UK). It was sunny and quite nice for a while, the park was full of people having picnics and playing football and stuff and then i wake up today and there's a huge rain storm and snow. :?
No it's not due to global warming. It'sa due to a weather pattern known as the Arctic Oscillation. The Arctic Oscillation is caused by air pressure differences betwene Arctic latitudes and mid northerly latitudes. If the mid northerly latitude pressure is too low and the arctic pressure is too high that low air pressure mass will sink southward while that high air pressure mass floats northward. Proof of this you can see when you look at yearly temperature variations. It is exceptionally warm in the arctic, up to 20C warmer than it usually is at this time of year, while it is excewptionally cold in the US and Europe. This is because the Arctic Oscillation is in it's extreme negative phase.
