AMSTERDAM - Dutch prosecutors are charging a 42-year-old woman with stalking after she allegedly called her ex-boyfriend 65,000 times in the past year. The 62-year-old victim from The Hague filed a police complaint in August due to the persistent phone calls. Police arrested the suspected stalker Monday, seizing several cell phones and computers from her home in Rotterdam. The court ordered her not to contact him again. Story here. I wonder if a U.S. court might have judged a stiffer penalty. What say you, OT?

have you pointed out how crazy he is acting? Yes. He calls it persistent and I told him that it isn't even like that anymore. I just never knew how exactly do I report it. click on the box that says "select an action below" that is how reporting is done. sadly i have no real helpful advice when dealing with crazy people. they tend to get the hint when they get tossed out of the house.
I don't answer the phone and let the answering maching take calls because of a stalker and I use someone else's voice on the answering machine. My stalker is very top heavy (living in her head) and guess what goes with a top heavy type of person? A phone.
According to the article, he had never had a relationship with her -- and that implies the kind of adonis looks that somehow survive into old age and vex a woman with enough independence and presence of mind to pay a telephone bill. I wish that article had pictures. I want to know what kind of adonis would spawn all that unwanted attention.
