The first two Star Wars movies (ANH and TESB) are the best movies ever! ROTJ isn't bad but the Ewoks are awful.
I mean how can you hate EMPIRE STRIKES BACK? I didn't even know it was possible! The original Star Wars movie is also too revolutionary to be disregarded.

Yeah, stuff like Rashomon, the Godfather, or the 400 Blows ain't got nothin' on the adventures of Luke Skywalker.
But seriously, the first three films are decent. Don't go into them expecting anything more than a quasi-mystical science-fantasy space opera and they are quite enjoyable. The newer series is trash, flat out. Worthless unless you want to view them as an instructional series on how not to make a good film.
IV, V and VI were good movies. I, II and III were the worst movies ever made. They don't even have comprehensible plots, characters or dialogue. It is just a bunch of special effects woven together with screen wipes and couch scenes.foxhound_foxImo you just described 4 5 and 6

Yes, they are. Episode V was the only good movie out of all of them, and it wasn't even that all great. LZ71What this fine gentleman said.

You can say what ever you want about the PT (Still better than EU) but if ANYTHING was done perfectly in I, II, III it was Ian McDiarmid playing Palpatine.
I can name much, much worse movies and I'm not a huge fan of I, II and III(though I liked III the best of those 3).mitu123Why didn't you name more then? They are among the worst. They are terribly written, terribly directed, and terribly acted. Granted, actors are only as good as the director can direct, and the script is written though.
Star Wars is very boring, the only good Star Wars I've come across was the excellent Knights Of The Old Republic 1 RPG from Bioware.

I even made a list in a blog for that matter, 50 of them even.mitu123Okay... now how many of those movies have 10's of millions of dollars budgets, were commercially successful, had massive advertising campaigns, toy lines endorsed by one of the largest toy manufacturer in the world, its own video game company, a massive fanbase that dedicates their their lives to the worship of the films, and how many of them have a significant number of people adhering to a fictional religion from the movie? Name one.

Name one. I'm just saying those movies are far worse than I-III, you're including things that aren't even related to quality of the movies.:? How is it possible when they suck more than the prequels?

It is just a bunch of special effects woven together with screen wipes and couch scenes.foxhound_foxThe prequels are FAR from the worst movies ever made. And they do have comprehensible plots, characters, and (sometimes poorly written) dialogue. How do they not?
Lol wut? I have you ever seen a non-action-flick? Go watch 12 angry men, it's a great movie yet it only takes place in three rooms, the whoe film is dialogue. They do more talking than in any other movie I've seen and it doesn't help they released the movies out of order.
