Star Wars: The Force Awakens wins it's 4th weekend straight in the box office! [Almost]

Gotta admit, TFA barely hang in there as The Revenant came mighty close to beating TFA for the top spot and despite Star Wars is in it's 4th weekend, those numbers have drop too fast, the hype is starting to die. The Forest looks boring to me and it's nice to see The Hateful Eight is doing well. There you have it, SW hype is showing it's age and we'll find out next week if it stays on top or not.

It's been soooo sloooooow recently with movie releases.

On a lighter note, my son has decided he hates Star Wars. We were walking through the toy store and he asked, "What happened to all the dinosaur stuff?"

"Well, buddy, that was out because Jurassic World was the most recent big movie out. Now Star Wars is."

"So people think this space stuff is cooler than dinosaurs?"

"At least for now."

@lamprey263: I don't think it's gonna happen. It's out everywhere, it might near Titanic.

The only way for Force Awakens to topple Avatar is to put it back in theaters again after a year. Maybe a couple months before Episode 8, re release it in IMAX, market the shit out of it and be like "RE EXPERIENCE ONE OF THE BIGGEST EVENTS IN CINEMATIC HISTORY IN IMAX BEFORE THE SAGA CONTINUES" or something like that.

It would've passed Titanic like next week if it wasn't for Titanic being re released in 3D in theaters which pushed it over the 2 billion mark.
