It can help build muscle but only when you take the correct dosage at the proper time before and after workouts. You should probably read up on it.PS2_ROCKS
Whey protein powder isn't that good anyways. Get Muscle Milk. And if you are skinny take a weight gainer 3 times a day. And the protein powder when instructed.
sorry for double post but,
in order to build muscle, you will need 1.5 grams of protein per pounds that you wiegh.
ex: i weigh 207 so.... 1.5x207=how much protien i will need ditributed throught the day evenly.

No kidding. When I was his age we used to use tree stumps for weights. We didnt have any of these fancy machines. Instead of treadmills, we would just run to school! 20 miles in the blistering heat...uphill...both ways...with the aforementioned tree stumps tied to our legs.
Kids these days dont know how to do anything right.
