Hey, I'm a visual arts major and I had an assignment given to me by my Professor asking us to draw states of mind.

For me, I was the lucky one to get "sarcasm". :|

Now, what the hell does a person look like when they are sarcastic?? I am really stupefied because I honestly don't think people have a certain look on their face when they are sarcastic...right?

Well, anyways...if anyone has any ideas that would be great because it takes me like 5 hours to draw one of these in graphite. :(

They don't look like they are being sarcastic in any way at all.

I'd say that generally the look is either a completely blank face or one that is ridiculously over-interested.

I would honestly have no idea how to draw sarcasm.....  I don't think people have a certain "look" when sarcastic (varies greatly person to person), it's more of the tone of voice.....  If I had to give an idea of a face, the eyebrows and mouth would be things to focus on imo.....  Other than that, good luck!  :?

EDIT:  maybe watch clips of movies / shows where a character uses alot of sarcasm, that could help you.  In fact, for some reason I had just thought of trying Spongebob because Squidward is nearly ALWAYS sarcastic.....

Sarcasm is indicated by voice and may be accompanied by the rolling of the eyes.

Body language is much more important that what any of us are ever saying. I hope you figure it out. IF you don't it's beyond me how you ever functioned to begin with.

I took some some snap shots of my face lol. i dont think i want to post them though cause i look really retarded.

I furrowed my bro a bit and kinda gave one of those blank stares and a very slight smile (I am pretty sure sarcastic people have a tiny grin on their face just because they think they know everything).
