Well I imagine Jurassic Park 4 is going to be made then.chessmaster1989
You would think so but you'd be wrong. From wikipedia:
In June 2002, director Steven Spielberg told Starlog magazine that he planned to produce Jurassic Park IV and that director Joe Johnston, who helmed Jurassic Park III, would direct it. In November 2002, screenwriter William Monahan was hired to write, with the film's release slated for summer 2005. In July 2003, Monahan completed the first draft, with the story no longer set in the jungle. Actor Sam Neill said he was returning as Dr. Alan Grant, with filming expected to begin in 2004 in California and Hawaii.

From ComicCon today:
"Legendary director Steven Spielberg said on Friday he's on track to make a fourth in his "Jurassic Park" blockbuster series."
Seems it will be made.
[QUOTE="Serraph105"]He's producing it. oh crap I just looked at the page, is Peter Jackson really directing it? I just might be more interested in it, so long as he doesn't bog it down like he did with King Kong.As long as it's actually Spielburg directing it I'm somewhat interested.

No indication of that though...King Kong's T-Rex scene was so much better than anything from Jurassic Park.As long as it's actually Spielburg directing it I'm somewhat interested.

No he's not. he's just on the page for Hobbit. As long as it's actually Spielburg directing it I'm somewhat interested.

And if you read what I posted you'd know that this isn't the first time Spielberg has said that. This movie has come close to production twice before in the past 9 years. It is literally the Duke Nukem Forever of Hollywood (and just like DNF, if JP4 gets released it will probably be terrible).its kind of silly, because after the first one, who the hell would go back to those damn islands. They had to figure out a way to get people back there, cause no sane person would ever go there. Which is why we get Malcolm going back to save Sara Harding and they basically tricked and tranquilized Grant into going back. AllicrombieDude, it's an island with DINOSAURS. What sane person WOULDN'T want to go there?
