Do you still live at home?I still do and I'm 21 and a junior in college. I hope to move out once I graduate college in 2014 at the latest.

Pero2006 good luck buddy. Keep telling yourself that you wont end up moving back home but you will. People even in their 40s and 50s are moving back in with their parents. Tough times these days
At least until I finish college, which is two more years. Should have been one more year, but I got lazy.
I forgot I have to stay at least one more year, I have a deal where I have to pay the rent for an entire year once I get a "real" job. So I could move out but I wouldn't want to pay double rent!

With hard times right now, if I were in your place, I'd stay home until I actually have a job. Otherwise, move out if your parents are willing to cover the expenses. I'm an advocate of young adults being independent. But, I also advocate staying out of debt if possible.
I'm moving out in a week, due to College. Technically, I don't live at home anymore, but since it's vacation, I'm spending my time here before I go to my apartment.
I'm 17.
At the moment, yes.
The missus and I are getting our own place at the end of the year. That's the plan, anyway.
After living on my own for nearly five years I moved back to my hometown and back in with my parents. It's only until I finish up my studies for good and save up enough money to leave Ohio. Works out for everyone. I save money, and they get much needed help around the house. I still pay rent and utilities, buy groceries, etc; just as if I had my own place.
Going to a local college for my first year so i thought there wasn't much point to staying in a dorm . But i cant wait to transfer to osu next semester that dorm is looking awesome ! raiden509Oregon State or Oklahoma State?
I moved out, started my own family and have my own home.Travo_basicAhh, eventually. I'm still young and have to get a few things together first.

I lived at home up until about 3 months after my high school graduation. I'm 19 now, in the Army and living on post in Fort Benning. It's really hard being away from home sometimes, especially with all the **** rules you have to follow around here that make life more difficult than it has to be, but so far the military has treated me ok. Being away from home in an environment like this really toughens you up mentally.

It's incredibly difficult to move out in my area without moving somewhere decently far away, which isn't possible without finding a job in that area beforehand... too expensive around here. Most kids don't move out until their mid to late 20's here
Yeah, I only live about 20 minutes away from my university and to stay on campus is like $2,000 more. Right now I'm taking classes and I'd like to get a job in the summer. Yeah, I'm going to college and I'm unemployed and still live at home at twenty one years of age but I kow people that older than me that haven't graduated high school, don't have their license or anything they just sit at homeand they don't have a future and they don't care.
