Strange synchronicities in language..

Something I have been noticing recently.. Well I'm not sure what it is called or if their is a term but I'll try to give an example.

Superficial - super fish ill

Superficial is defined as "regarding to the surface" and a super ill fish floats at the surface.

Seems like some kind of strange etymological alchemy. One thing splitting into two and then becoming one again kind of thing.. maybe there's a formula! :o

'Coincidence' is pronounced 'Cohen-Sid-Ents'

Ents are from Lord of the Rings, which really spiked in popularity in the 60s.

Sid Barrett and Leonard Cohen are artists who both began recording in the 60s

Weird.
