"Kanazawa extrapolates from a data set created by the unrelatedAdd Health project, which tracked survey responses from adolescence to adulthood on a wide variety of subjects. From these survey responses, Kanazawa concludes that 'black women are objectively less physically attractive than other women.'"

Apparently things like Average BMI and Inteligence were taken into account when he made this graph..

The original article by Mr.Kanazawa published in "Psychology Today" has since been removed.

I have always found Black women to be less attractive than other races.

This thing is worthless, his entire conclusion is based on an elementary logical fallacy that a six-year old could detect.

Okay. Coming from a man who isn't all that attracted to black women I don't really find this study to be false. It's completely subjective of course which makes the study a tad silly, but whatever.

Which is the entire point, its completely subjective.. Meaning it can not be objective, hence its ridiculous.. Furthermore people actually need to read up on the author of this study.. He is crazy.

Light skin was comfirmed as a attractive trait a long time ago, there are bound to be exeptions though.

I have a quick question for you, just because I'm now curious.

Suppose I were to conduct a similar study, yet all I did to find my results is poll a group of 500,000 randomly selected men. Let's say my only interest is to simply find out which race is "most attractive" on average. Along with the group being polled, I add in a few other factors such as average intelligence, BMI and the Golden Ratio.

My ultimate finding is that through these factors, black women lag behind all others. I report my findings and release all data for public view.

Is that racist?

Based upon what? I would like to see his actual survey if they were in fact scientific polls.. Based on this guy track record, this guy is anything but objective...Until then there is immense doubt that this guys entire scientific study is full of crap.

Funny you say that because we have no idea if his polls were actually scientific ones.. Based on this guys track record there is no reason to trust this guys objective thought, inless of course we get evidence that contradicts that.. As in his methodology..

Research shows that the vast majority of cultures prefer light skinned women because they are associated with wealth and high class.
It may have nothing to do with dark or light skin being physically attractive but it does play a role in attractiveness overall.

Intrestingly enough, these days white people with a tan are prefered for the same reasons.
