Riot police really are a flawed force, i meanseriously, they are trained to beat the crap out of people, what kind of person joins a force like that? Just take a guess. I hate how they keep on hitting people after they have gone to the floor, its so pointless. Its no wonder why no1 likes the police.

I was asking why they beat him. according to the police who did it, he assaulted them, which as the video shows is clearlyyyy untrue, he was literally minding his own business

I'm always for the police in these type of situations, too many people bashing the cops for stuff that they can't help (Tazing etc.) but that's just plain wrong, those police should have their badges taken away.

I don't think beating him up was the best choice. The officers were on edge, who knows what the kid was saying that provoked them.

Fire them. No need to waste taxpayer money on those idiots. the same thing happened to a homeless man in my city, the cops beat him for no reason. All they got was a suspension with pay. Basically they beat up a homeless for no reason and got a paid vacation on taxpayer money. That just makes me sick.

I saw that video about a week ago, and it really was disgusting. I feel really bad for that kid. Those police offers should be disciplined for beating him senseless without any obvious reason (as well as lying about it.)
it says the officer has only been suspended. hopefully after everything is looked over and all the processes they have to go through are done, the officers involved will lose their jobs. can't just have them out and about doing things like this. who knows how many other times this has happened, that they got away with?
Why is it that when a civilian beats someone up it's an assault charge, but when cops do it it's basically just a slap on the wrist, if anything is done at all? The guy wasn't doing anything...he was just jumping around, probably yelling a bit to celebrate the victory, and then clearly calmed down when the police approached on horseback. Then all of a sudden two more officers ran in and beat the **** out of him. Corrupt cops can all just rot.
