All of my friends feel the urge to update their Facebook status atleast every 5 minutes. The stupidest one that I've seen is *Name here* is sitting down. I was like wtf? I don't care about that.

What about you guys?

I can't recall any specific ones, but some of the things people set as their status are pretty dumb. I dislike most the "My life sucks" ones...

Someone hacked one of my friends computer. Not just her Facebook but her computer too. Several albums of naked pics of herself and others were posted. It was odd seeing them as I've known her for years. Not sure I really wanted to see them. She's been banned and I can only assume had a very stern talking to by a lot of people. Stupidest non-pron update I've seen has to be "[Name] wears socks (updated from a mobile)".

i think it's just because we're second in the NHL. these teams we're playing are fighting to be in the playoffs. once the playoffs come around, we'll be fine.

I hate when people update their statuses every ten seconds without even really changing them all that much. I also hate when people put stupid, cliche, long-winded quotes as their statuses.

Not to be racist or anything, but I get a laugh (or a groan) out of some of the statuses from some of the black kids in my school. For example, here are some that I just found with a 1 or 2 minute search: "HaD fUn @ tHa z00 w/ My BaBiEzz N n0w iZ gEtTiN rEaDy 4 cHuRcH/m0viE NiTE ♥ {{TxT iT uP!!}}." I also hate when hipsters put stupid statuses that they use to try to make them look deep, for example " has no fear, waves are beating. Gently beating on the shore." " wants all of the tics and tocs and clicks of clocks." "sees yourself seeing everytime you try and, gasp, even when you don't. It happens everyday, don't worry about it; chuckle chuckle chuck."

I'm mostly annoyed by the ones that have no coherent thought, all caps, and are written in internet lingo... I try to confuse people with my "stati." One such example would be, "..... says you are in denial. Denial of what you ask? See, he told you so."

I don't really pay attention to them, for the most part. Mine tend to elicit "WTF?" responses, though-in order to determine my new status, which I update about 3-4 times per week, I use a random number generator that generates two numbers between 1 and however many songs are in my music collection. I then compare those two numbers with an index I created of my music collection. I then try to incorporate the two songs into a coherent sentence. My favorite was when "Raining Blood" and "Seasons in the Abyss" both came up. "This Season, it shall be Raining Blood in the infinite Abyss".
