It was abysmal. The plot made less than zero sense... There were so many holes in the story it is amazing.. The action was ... ok at best, but nothing worth while about that movie at all.

The reviews for it are terrible, but I gave it a chance and it is my favorite films of 2011.

I feel it is completely misunderstood. I say watch it.

Movie was horrible. But I did no mind the girls with guns and sword part(when she dances)

on the positive side it had hot chicks, an epic soundtrack, and pretty visuals.

On the other hand it's action was boring due to the fact that nobody is the least bit harmed in any of the fights (seriously no bruises, nothing), it's story is nonsesicle despite trying to be epic, and it's acting is extremely poor.

I hated the movie.

If it did that, it would've been the perfect movie.

It was quite good. Was really weird with it's plot and storyline, but overall a definite rent at the very least. I know I'll be getting it on Blu-Ray.

It's a really bad movie. I watched it with my friend and I knew it was going to be garbage from the reviews, but it was worse than I thought it could be. Avoid it like the plague.

You have to admit though, it's got a badass soundtrack!

I thought it was alright.

I just have to set the record straight:

1.) If you like action movies without a plot, then you will actually HATE this movie. (reason, the plot is what this movie tries to convince you is the most important piece of the movie, but it is aweful)

2.) Hot chicks in CGI fight scenes are cool, however, this movie makes it as lame as that concept can possibly be. All the fight scenes are repetitive and structured into a 2nd-grade script.

3.) If you like Zak Snyder, you will NOT like this movie. It is so much worse than anything he has ever done (even Owls of Ga'Hoole).

4.) This was the second worst movie I have seen this year (after Hobo With A Shotgun...what a piece of dogcrap that was).

5.) This topic has been argued several times now, and only 13-year old kids find this movie to be stimulating in anyway.

To sum up, seriously, this movie is utterly shameful in every way possible. The soundtrack is highly overrated because all the cover songs that they got Emily what's-her-face to sing were worse than the originals. The visuals were awesome if I was playing a video game or watching a music video. For a 2-hour movie it was just boring.

If you take it seriously, it's crap. If you take it for fun, it's great. Plus it's all about the "exquisite melons" / "curvy posteriors" / guns.

Also they copied alot of games and such.

Samurai = Shogun 2 came to mind, along with Anime.

Train sequence = FF13 + iRobot

Nazi zombies = CoD Zombie mode +Mekas

Medieval = LoTR. Just Sayin'

It's pretty bad, but Jena Malone is decent, it looks cool at times, and the action can be fun. Other than that though it's not worth seeing.

it was ok.

movies are kind of painted into a corner these days. everything has been done to death so they are whipping up these genre mashups to try to do something original and it's tough to do that and make a good movie.

It sucked. Zack Snyder is a great director, the girls were hot, and the visuals were great. But the whole story was terrible, and Snyder should stay away from writing.

I thought it was BA. It got my testosterone flowing. It was like an anime, but in live action. Awesome battle sequences and unique story.

It was a crappy women empowerment movie, nothing more.
