Suggest me shows based on what I like....

What I like:

Breaking Bad (kinda)

Mad Med

Dexter

The Boondocks

Firefly

Angel

Buffy

Curb your Enthusiasm

Here is what not to suggest:

LOST

Doctor Who

-----------------

I dislike episodic shows. I usually like shows that have an ongoing story throughout the season. I also dislike police type shows like Law & order, Castle and Bones. I dislike most FOX television.

In return, I'll post pics of whatever I wan't.

If you like Dexter and Breaking Bad, you'd probably like (though admittedly ended) shows like The Wire and the Sopranos. While technically they have a high content of police drama and law and order themes, they're not specifically about the format of solving the crime, they go quite a bit deeper, and to the other side of things. As to your other likes; obviously if you want dysfunctional, non-generic comedy (ala Curb Your Enthusiasm), Seinfeld is a no-brainer (if you haven't seen it before of course). Other obvious suggestions like Arrested Development, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia; and across the pond, classics like The UK Office and Peep Show. It depends of course, entirely of you. The list of shows you have given that you like is not one I'd call particularly cohesive in any sort of genre or theme :P

No anime please. I've gone through that phase and I own more than I'd like to. Yes, I own a crap load of anime and Berserk is one of them.

I know you said not to suggest it, but LOST. It really is a great show.

Also Arrested Development is the best show ever.

Carnivale was soooo good. Such a shame there are only 2 seasons. I would also suggest Fringe, True Blood, Supernatural, Happy Town and Flash Forward from the top of my head.

You said you dislike FOX television, but you didn't specify what. In case you haven't tried it, 24 is a good show. It has a continuous story that carries out in one day. House and Lie to Me are good shows, but they're episodic. Another good show is Modern Family on ABC.

Sons Of Anarchy is like a modern day Hamlet with biker gangs, and Ron Perlman. :)

As a Browncoat (Firefly fan), do you watch Castle starring Nathan Fillion? It's a detective series, where Fillion plays a crime novel writer called Richard Castle. He basically shadows a female NYPD cop, named Beckett, and they have a good will-they-won't-they chemistry. There's a family dynamic, comedy and ol' fashioned crime drama thrown into the mix.

Spartacus: Blood and Sand is purely a self indulgent gore/love-fest, but surprisingly watchable. Think of it as a supermarket brand 300.
