anyone see that movie? I think it was great how it showed how little harm marijuana causes and is a great educational film that should be showed in schools to tell teens the truth about marijuana.

So you're saying this is an educational opportunity that I should watch and cherish for the rest of my life and base my opinion on drugs solely on this production because, quite evidently, the movie was crafted by a highly intelligent man that is also really cool? Kewl! but, dude, this movie was done by the King of the Stoners. So, it should be at least somewhat entertaining![QUOTE="AltAcct"]It's not even out yet :| That said, I'll watch it, eventually. I ended up watching Super Size Me, might as well this one too.yabbicoke

I hate this movie, it generates the stereotype that anyone who smokes marijuana does it all day every day. Also trying to study the effects of smoking for 30 days doesn't make much sense as marijuana, as with any drug, effects all people quite differently.
Edit: I also dislike how he trivializes medical marijuana. If you want a good documentary on marijuana watch The Union: The business behind getting high

So when the U.S. government and wealthy businessmen spread propaganda about cannabis it's okay, but when people who want to repeal those lies do it it's not? Please. I'll admit it's not the most scientific test ever run, but it's better than when the U.S. government authorized studies that basically rounded up a bunch of admitted weed smokers who weren't screened for tobacco use. It's not the most informative documentary, but it at least dispels some of the more out-there myths of cannabis use.
And I'm not saying you should base your entire opinion of cannabis on one film, but you should base it on the body of research out there that shows that cannabis is safer than our current legal drugs, that it was originally banned by people who felt their profits could be threatened by it, that it has stayed banned under heavy lobbying from alcohol, oil, and tobacco lobbies, and that it has a myriad of medicinal and theraputic uses.
