I don't see why not. If you were having surgery on your stomach there might be issues with what you can eat, but your leg, why would that effect what you can eat?

And if in doubt, ask your doctor. He/she will know more about it than anyone on gamespot.

BEFORE surgery they might not want you to eat anything.. they should have told you this already.

AFTER surgery it should be fine.

I don't see any problem about it. Heck, its better if you do since chicken has proteins. Help you with cell development.

Depends on the type of surgery. But you should be able to eat afterwards, though if they put you under, you may be a little nauseous.
