Just run a scan with your spyware program (make sure it's up to date first) then if it catches it then you can delete it. You could also clear your internet cache (or run CCleaner if you have it). If you can't do either of these things then do a system restore only if you're really concerned that it may have dome something. Wait a bit and see if your machine starts acting weird.

The word is "literally."
And that is the exact opposite of "literally" so no.
Anyway, OP, do a system restore like everyone said. Also, try a Spyware removal program. In the past I would have recommended Ad-Aware specifically, but some people are complaining about it not updating the definitions properly lately. It still might be worth a shot though.
Actually, System Restore doesn't do much these days since practically all good spyware and viruses are designed to re-install themselves after you finish the system restore.DeeJayInphinity
