Hey, OT. I'm in need of some help. Recently, I bought a $5 box with a code to win a PS Vita. However, upon entering it on the website, it gave me an error code saying the code has already been used. Now, I know the chances are slim to none in winning, but I feel cheated. Does anyone know if there's any way I can contact Taco Bell to get a new code or something?

Yes I care. I paid for the box, why should I not at least get a chance to win as promised? If this happened to others, it can even be considered fraud.

http://unlock.tacobell.com/official-rules Has instructions on how to get a free code by mail. Also seems that you can get one march 2-11 at the site.

I read the entire box and I see nothing that would cover them.

Do you happen to know how I can contact them and talk to/email an ACTUAL person?

First off, if someone else used the code, it's not Taco Bell's fault. Second, they don't have to give out any winning codes. You MAY win one. It doesn't say anyone actually will.

You could take the box back to the store and ask to speak to a manager.

Who's going to buy that though? You can just keep going back saying the code is used.

It should be Taco Bell's fault. They are responsible for their employees. I know getting a code isn't a guarantee of winning, but they ARE giving out PS Vitas...

"Five Thousand (5,000) Prizes: a PlayStationVita prize pack including (1) a PlayStationVita 3G/Wi-Fi system, (2) a PlayStationVita game, (3) a 4GB PlayStationVita Memory Card (valued at no less than $19.99), and (4) a choice of a second PlayStationVita game (valued at no less than $29.99). ARV: $379.96 each. There will be a total of five thousand (5,000) Prizes available to be won throughout the Promotion Period in Game 1, Game 2 and the Challenge. There will be four thousand five hundred (4,500) Prizes available in Game 1; there will be four hundred eighty two (482) Prizes available in Game 2, and there will be eighteen (18) Prizes available – three (3) per week – in the Challenge. Total ARV: $1,899,800. Limit: One (1) Prize per person from all games combined."

Then if you want, try and get another box. Seriously, I can't believe this is worth your time and effort, much less getting worked up over.

The eighth digit doesn't matter, but I just looks better than 1-800-TAC-OBEL or 1-800-TACO BEL.

That was part of the story. A guy did take advantage of it and him and his friends got a bunch of winning codes or whatever. But legitimate winners were actually told they didnt win. He just messed with the code so he and his friends could win. But plenty of actual winners got turned away.
