Or maybe it's not that tall people are smarter but that smart people are taller because they figure out ways to cheat on their hight (putting on two pairs of socks. stretching themselves etc.).
I am much taller than the average woman and I also am a few inches taller than the average man (in the USA).

What is the average? I looked around and found... Average height of females in the USA: 5'4'' Average height of males in the USA: 5'9 1/2'' My wife and I are 5'10". Didn't mean to make you do all the research.:P

I don't think tall people are necessarily more intelligent. However, taller people have obvious advantages in life. That is a fairly accepted sociological fact. Being a tall person myself, I can say it rocks. Short people are missing out.

What about average height people? I'm 1,76, and I'm glad I'm not some 1,93 bloke. I've seen how they suffer due to the height of a car's roof, in airplanes, public transportation and how they're overall clumsy.
I disagree with the theory, though, as it makes no sense.
I'm not so sure. I have known plenty of tall people who are complete idiots. Though I do know it to be true that the average CEO tends to be much taller than the average height.

I agree with this (to an extent) more than the theory.
I'm fine standing a 5'6" :P
That's alright height for a girl. Small girls are alright though (and usually cuter). Guys have more of an evolutionary desire to bebig. It's what we do. Whether we are big through height or through physical appearance, most guys crave size.
That's why you see a lot of short guys with too much muscle mass.
