Teacher calls student a loser when grading assignments

If a teacher was bullying my kid this way, they would be beaten in a dark alley. I expect him to be fired as he rightfully should be. What would you do if you were this child's parent?

He should be fired, he obviously can't control his behaviour adequately after being told to cease and apologise once before.

I'm not one of those people who think every kid should get a trophy, or that teachers shouldn't use red ink, but this teacher seems to have crossed the line.

Why doesn't she do anything about it? If I was her, I'd beat that teacher so bad. I'm not kiddin'. One time I tripped this sub that I hated and he nearly broke his neck.

You can not be serious? What if the child has trouble in that subject, maybe she had other problems before taking the test?? A bad grade means that the teacher should be more supportive and try to help her get a better one not calling her a loser. It is beyond inappropriate, it is absolutely ridiculous. Plus if students are getting low grades in the class maybe the teacher sucks, another reason he should be fired.

I bet that girl isn't actually upset, and is just pretending to be upset about being called a loser, so it would distract her mother from her terrible grades!

Wow did people even read what it said??? It said -20% for BEING a loser, the teacher took off 20% of the grade because he thought she was a loser. SaintLeonidas

If they are getting a 20% on a test, they ARE a loser and the teacher saying that to them should be the very least of a parent's concernsxaos
