Alright OT, its you against me!! Tell me why I should pay $15 (au) (roughly lol) to see ol' man Emmerich blow up the US of A with the film 2012!!

I just learnt from our good friends at the IMDB that this movie is - wait for it - 158 minutes!! Yeesh.

But wait it gets worse!! Danny Glover as the President!! Morgan must have been busy...

If you want to see a movie about the end of the world then sure. I suppose if you like special effects you could go see it too. I have a bad feeling some of my friends will want me to see it. At least John Cuscak is in it.

I suggest you save the money and put it towards something actually useful.

You should not pay $15 for 2012. Nobody should. It's people trying to profit off of peoples fears and misconceptions. It's a scam based on a false perception of the Mayan Calendar. I don't get peoples obessesion with misinformation and present day perceptions of mythologys that have changed over time. Nothing means what it used too... people think it does, but it doesn't.
