How much weight would a person lose if the only thing they consume is water for a period of ten days? Does the metabolic rate of the person have any effect on how much weight they'd lose? Would they even survive the ten days?

I'm sure most people could potentially survive ten food deprived days. But, f*ck that, food taste too gewd. I'm sure one would have some rank ass breath through it all.GlamourBoppinyea nothing is worse then that nasty breathe and dry mouth when you wake up
dude that is f'ing stupid, your body will go into shock after a few days and start eating muscle instead of body fat...the best thing to do is lower your calorie intake and exercise. How much weight would a person lose if the only thing they consume is water for a period of ten days? [QUOTE="lamprey263"]you're metabolism would slow down to conserve energy, and you're energy level would go down too, you'd basically just want to sleep through itKing-Kai
Would insanity set in?
sleep deprivation is bad for your mental health, not sure what too much sleep might do, I'd figure you'd have to be tad bit whack to fast for 10 days just because, but say you're doing it to protest the moral corruptness of society or some crap and you'll be a saint[QUOTE="muller39"]
I did four days before. You should eat, your supposed to do it.

How did you feel after the four days?
I was going through an emotional time in my life. I didn't choose not to eat. I just never was hungry. I wouldn't recommend doing it. I had no energy and it made me even more at the time not want to get out and move. I would force myself to eat next time. When I was in the hospital for 2 weeks I was not allowed to eat. I was 190 lbs and went down to 150 lbs. I basically looked like a Holocaust victim and barely had enough energy to stand up for more than 30 seconds.
yea nothing is worse then that nasty breathe and dry mouth when you wake up when I got my wisdom teeth pulled, for the next couple days I would wake up with dried blood in my mouth, now that is the worst taste in the world no doubt. augh Im remembering it now.[QUOTE="GlamourBoppin"]I'm sure most people could potentially survive ten food deprived days.
