How much weight would a person lose if the only thing they consume is water for a period of ten days? Does the metabolic rate of the person have any effect on how much weight they'd lose? Would they even survive the ten days?

I'm sure most people could potentially survive ten food deprived days. But, f*ck that, food taste too gewd. I'm sure one would have some rank ass breath through it all.

What if the person is skinny and has a fast metabolism? How much weight will they lose and will they survive?

1lb fat = 3500 calories. ten days, lets say you eat 2500 calories(average man). 2500 * 10 = 25000(calories lost) / 3500 = 7.14 Ruffly 10lbs.

dude that is f'ing stupid, your body will go into shock after a few days and start eating muscle instead of body fat...the best thing to do is lower your calorie intake and exercise.

Yes, they will survive. Why are you asking these questions? Why do I get the feeling like you have some people locked up in your basement and you want to torture them?D:

you're metabolism would slow down to conserve energy, and you're energy level would go down too, you'd basically just want to sleep through after fasting your body may just store everything it eats with a vengeance and you may gain everything you lost back and then some

sleep deprivation is bad for your mental health, not sure what too much sleep might do, I'd figure you'd have to be tad bit whack to fast for 10 days just because, but say you're doing it to protest the moral corruptness of society or some crap and you'll be a saint

How did you feel after the four days?

I was going through an emotional time in my life. I didn't choose not to eat. I just never was hungry. I wouldn't recommend doing it. I had no energy and it made me even more at the time not want to get out and move. I would force myself to eat next time.

When I was in the hospital for 2 weeks I was not allowed to eat. I was 190 lbs and went down to 150 lbs. I basically looked like a Holocaust victim and barely had enough energy to stand up for more than 30 seconds.

I've never done ten days but I did do three before. It wasn't all that bad after the burning in your stomach goes away. You won't have all that much energy and will be drinking water like a madman because your mouth will taste bad. What they're saying about your breath is true. Try two days and you'll get the general idea. Ten is a bit too much
