Texas has a self-pride that i do not see in any other state of the union For some they are just rednecks but for others they are the real essence of the american way .Opinions please

Virginia is still some sort of Commonwealth I think. Can't remember but something like three states are commonwealth-type things.

Texas believes it is its own nation more than any other state in the union. I do not know of anything else that distinguishes its culture from other states'.
