I hate this statement. Why do people say it? And who are they talking to when they make it their msn name / status ? - Sue - " Is going to the beach, text me " - It's stupid. Do they really think as soon as she goes to the beach and makes that her status that everyone is going to flock out and text her? And why would people liek that WANT people to text them when they're doing things? More things I don't understand about social butterflies -_-
they just like talking to friends. usually girls would say that, and if i understand what my female friends say to eachother when they forget i'm eating doritos next to them, the beach is "just a place to watch for hotties and get tan" neither of which texting interferes with.

some people don't have friends. so saying "text me" is pointless. but usually when people say "text me" is to keep in contact. like to chill afterward and such. not everyone spends their day in front of a computer. so texting is the next solution.
i soooo thought you were going to ask for random strangers to text you xP ahh well i believe she wants a certain young man to come along and go, well i havent got your number and voila she has his number, or she likes to look busy whilst at the beach staring into her inbox rather than the fine view of her surroundings :D YAY
it wasnt meant to be used by people like us, it was a form of testing signal ranges, so they'd basically be writing one word texts :P theyre locations thus the limitation of characters but texting is awesome :P i use like 2000 texts a month xD
