Is there any software where I can type out text, and then its read outloud by a program?

The catch is can I turn it into mp3 format?

So I want an mp3 of text that I typed out.

Anyone got anything or any ideas?

There are, but they all sound crap. Why not just reccord it from your voice?

I know with Mac OS X they have an awesome text-to-voice application for disabled users and accessibility options, my friends and I use it to say hilarious stuff all the time. Then I would just use my built-in iSight camera and microphone to record the text I want to make an MP3 of, then tell QuickTime to export it as an MP3.

Done.

As for XP, who knows...
