Think about it, if it werent for ww1, ww2 wouldnt take place and the atomic bomb wont be discovered yet. The cold war/space race wont happen, so computers would still be primitive, and video games wouldnt yet exist.

I wonder if the technologies are discovered, or have always been there but just made public.
Without WWI, and the subsequent Ally-imposed economic depression, then WWII likely would not have happened b/c Hitler may not have come to power. But then the VW Beetle would not have been pushed so much by Hitler and a generation of Hippies in the 60s would have had no mode of transportation. Thus no mass migration to San Francisco and California. Therefore, WWI caused California to become a s***** place to live. :D

well, its the same with people that just see a celebrity for who he/she has sex with. you only base your opinion on what the media tells you today, not recognizing what it has done before, the good its currently doing, and the great things it will do in the future.
