Alright, so [as I did not know where else to post this], I was looking through my blog posts and realized they go back as far as 2007, I figured I couldn't have been here that long [could I have?!] Then I turn to see "Member Since: Nov 3, 2007".

Let me say, I've been a gamer for a long, long time, since the NES days (the original NES days), and when the next-gen consoles starting coming out (PS2, Xbox, etcetera), and I purchased them, is when I started using GameSpot. So I've used GameSpot as a source of reviews, previews, [cheats,] and E3/GDC (etc...) coverage for a long time.

I'm sick today, I have the flu and a sinus infection, but in a rather good mood. I just wanted to see if anyone else out there appreciates GameSpot as much as I do? They're not perfect, but then again who is? I just wanted to show my appreciation for them, since, in all honesty, I've grown up with them and they have taught me some things about gaming.

So, I ask, does anyone else in the GS community have a long history with GS? If so, how long?

i've only been a member for roughly 1 year, but i've used this site for at least 4 - 5 years. i think the reviews here are, forthe most part, honest.GS's not like GP when comes to reviews. GS's much tougher, and i like that. it's a good site, better than most.

I've been here since december 08 and i love it, it seems to have everything i need to keep up with the latest games and keeps me knowledgeable. I also like the fact that for the most part i've been on gamespot at least once a day since i joined and i've yet to even become remotely bored with it. Only thing i wish i could get that i don't have out of this is more friends on here transfering over to friends on xbox.

Nov 18, 2007, GS helped me through a time inwhich I had a brain tumour and couldn't leave the house for months due to the treatment, so I do appreciate it.

Not long, 6-7 months or so. It feels longer, which is a good thing.

Iv'e been a member since Jan of 2005, feels longer though.
