In My Opinion It's Probaly Got To Be...

3. Slayer - Reign In Blood

2. The Black Dahlia Murder - Unhallowed

1. As I Lay Dying - Frail Words Collapse

Of Top Of My Head These Are Probaly, In My Opinion Three Of The Heaviest Albums Ever. Mainly Beacause Of Their Raw Brutallity. Any Other Opinions?

Heaviest based on what? Heavy is such a lame term, but if you're speaking in raw power and force, none of those are heavy at all.

Try Gorguts - Obscura, Deicide - Legion, and Morbid Angel - Altars of Madness.

Reign in Blood? Come on, that's not even that heavy. Thrashy maybe. And a metalcore band having a heavy album? Bah, come on.

In no particular order:

Tomb of the Mutilated / Cannibal Corpse

Teach The Children To Worship Satan / Dark Funeral

Satanica / Behemoth

Not really correct, I just picked three out of the albums I think are heavy.

Agreed. Even though I am a fan of metalcore (I know, I know), they don't have the super heavy albums. Especially As I Lay Dying. Yuck.

Legion by Deicide.

Ace Of Spades by Motorhead.

As for heavy it dosent really matter unless you have the volume all the way up if you ask me. Till your ears bleed!

I really want to put Gojira's "From Mars to Sirius," because of the heavy image. I mean, it has a whale on the cover... and the moon. Pluss a song called "The Heavies Matter in the Universe." But still, it's not so incredibly heavy compared to well... more extreme and heavier acts. Atleast Gojira was heavy as hell live. 8)

Why do you like cannibal corpse??? They sound like inverted music. I can talk better than what ever the hell they do.

Heaviest and best:

-Dimmu Borgir: Puritanical Euphoric Misanthro

Sadly I only have two albums by Motorhead, I will probably get Bomber and Overkill when I have enough money.

Three 'heavy' albums that are actually good:

Spawn of Possession - Noctambulant
Lykathea Aflame - Elvenefris
Augury - Concealed

That's for 'heavy' being as devastatingly loud and fast and hard as possible while maintaining a coherent sound.

If you want 'heavy' being something with groove riffs, then I guess that's where the Pantera/Shadows Fall/metalcore falls into.

True sometimes. Far Beyond Driven is the weakest and also heaviest Pantera Album.
