The age old question: Waffles or cupcakes?

Two food items that are rarely compared; and for good reason, too. But which of the two do you prefer?

I personally prefer cupcakes, because of the delicious icing.

Waffles, by far. Cupcakes have one good bite in them: the icing. The rest is just meh. But waffles with syrup, the whole thing is awesome.
