Does it matter which version i buy. there are different translations of each and there are some boasting they are better than others, does it really matter?

Not too much, if your in the US I'd try to get the version they teach at West Point, which is the one I've read. It's an amazing book, and it's principals can be used in war or everyday life.

I doubt there's much disparity between translations, honestly. I found the book to be ridiculously trite and overrated. The entire thing was one big truism: "know yourself and the enemy and you'll win everything, man." No ****
