I' d say Sean Connery has been the best James Bond with Daniel Craig being second.

I find Craig to be the best of them with Connery and Brosnan tied for second. Daniel was able to explore a darker side of Bond that none of the other actors have been able to do. Also being able to create a bond that has a mix of jason bourne which is great in my opinion.
I don' t like Brosnan he' s looks too wimpy in a fight but he looks exactly like how I would picture Bond.I find Craig to be the best of them with Connery and Brosnan tied for second. Agreed With Sean Connery however when Daniel Craig started to be Bond, the movies just became standard Action movies, No longer Spy movies and I have prove :P because in Casino Royal James Bond menciont (I don't know how to write that o.O) 9/11 and James Bond movies were supposed to be in the cold war...
however 2nd is Pierce Brosnan

I agree. That's the only reason I place Brosnan as second is because he was the classiest Bond.
"From Russia With Love" was pretty realistic and dark compared to the other Sean Connery, James Bond movies but You Only Live Twice is the best to me.Sean Connery. As for the best movie - From Russia With Love.

I think I prefer Craig, but Brosnan has the perfect look for Bond, the suave and sophisticated look.
You have to go with Sean Connery - the classic Bond. He's what made the legacy of JamesBond. Although Daniel Craig was very impressive. I remember when I first heard abouthim playing thepart I wasn't optimistic about it but I'm glad to say I was wrong and I think Craig did an awesome job for the role. Next would be Brosnan but only Goldeneye was good - his other Bond films were not that great (Die Another Day was decent, though). As for the rest, I liked some of Roger Moore's movies but he's pretty mediocre. I've never seen any of Dalton's film. There was that other guy who played Bond in one movie but I never saw it.
I don' t like Brosnan he' s looks too wimpy in a fight but he looks exactly like how I would picture Bond. Brosnan was a good Bond. Every actor was fit for their times. Well Lazenby wasn't but Connery had quit so what could they do.[QUOTE="Trinners"]

Yep:P I dont get why so many people hate Dalton, he is the most accurate bond. James Bond is meant to be a cold killer, not a cheesy idiot like Roger Moore or Pierce Brosnan. I like all the bond actors in their own ways, but I still think Dalton is the best. Funny how he is hated for doing what Craig is praised for now.

It was the 80's - cheese was at its peak. Dalton was just born 20 years too soon.

I really liked License to Kill, which could also explain why I liked Quantom Of Solace since they are both bond films based around revenge that people said we not Bond enough.
Sean Connery seeing how he had the most consistent great James bond movies. Timothy Dolten and Pierce Brosnan had the best ones IMO though (the living daylights, license to kill and the best one of all, GOLDENEYE, didn't like any after that though).

Did you see Never say never again? The bond film Connery did in the 80s. It was pretty bad.

You Only Live Twice wasn't a good display either....Same with Diamonds are forever. I wasnt very fond of that. My favorite bond films overall though are License to kill, living daylights, Casino royale, From russia with love, and Goldfinger. I liked Goldeneye a lot too. I kinda liked The World is not enough too, though that is mostly because I really liked Robert Caryle.
No I didn't like Diamonds Are Forever either. By the end of his Bond career Connery was just phoning it in and taking the check. Then again...perhaps the director's helped. The first director. Terrence Young, taught Connery how to be Bond.Same with Diamonds are forever. I wasnt very fond of that. I liked DR No, From Russia with Love, Goldfinger, Thunderball, The Man with the Golden Gun (due to Christopher Lee's performance mainly), The Spy who Loved Me, The Living Daylights, Godeneye, and Casino Royale. I even liked a bit of On Her Majesty's Secret Service....but not enough for it to be a favorite. Once Blofeld was shown.....his character was ruined.

On her majesty's secret service was pretty good, but the sad ending would have worked better if there was more development, and blofeld. I'm guessing you didnt like License to kill. Thunderball has one of my favorite bond girls. Wasnt never say never again a remake of thunderball?
Lazenby needed time to develop as an actor. One film is not enough. License to Kill was okay. I enjoyed it when I watched it. Just not one of my favorites since it wasn't quite the cIasssic Bond tale. Yep. Never Say Never Again was Thunderball remade with a very old Bond. I liked the Largo character better in Never Say....than in Thunderball though the movie wasn't as good. The villian was...On her majesty's secret service was pretty good, but the sad ending would have worked better if there was more development, and blofeld. I'm guessing you didnt like License to kill.
