So I will be able to vote this election, but I want to know about the Candidate's general policies so I can pick one. Right now all I have is media bias and some celebrity endorsements, along with some racist parents and some Obama = change friends.

First thing: Healthcare
My parents own a small business and don't make too much, so we DONT have health insurance. Anything we do is out of pocket. Now I've heard of Obama's universal healthcare and McCains tax credit... how do those affect us financially. My dad and I are diabetic, healthcare might be nice.

Second thing: Obama's dirty money/McCain = Bush
My racist dad was telling me some stuff about Obama buying his house from some middle eastern guy for way too cheap and some terrorism crap... I've seen him watch Fox News, so I don't take what he said too seriously, but wtf
the guy is christian isnt he? I've heard people say hes muslim...or half muslim... idiots

Most of the time, when I ask "why not McCain" I hear "he's just like Bush" is he really? would the economy suffer more under him?
Also, is Sarah Palin as dumb as the media makes her look?

So does Barack = Change, is McCain a "Maverick"? what would these guys do in office to help my family

If you're a small business owner, I would assume McCain... Healthcare wise for your situation... I really don't know **** about McCain's healthcare plan.

Obama will raise taxes. I would assume that would be enough to turn away a business owner.

Here's the easiest method of determination.

Do you believe in capitalism? If so, vote McCain.

Do you believe in socialism? If so, vote Obama.

That's being a bit simple, yes, but it's basically accurate.

Obama only raises taxes for the top 1% of tax payers (the extremely weathly). And seeing how the OP doesn't even have health insurance, I highly doubt that his family's taxes will be raised...

Obama is a liar, he lied about lots of stuff last night. He was with Bill Ayers, and Accorn.

I think of it like this: since both candidate are claimed to die in office we are essentially voting for the VP... personally I'd choose Biden over Palin.

As far as Healthcare, Ive lived in a Country (I am a US citizen btw) where they used universal Healthcare and its really not all that its cut out to be as far as its put by Michael Moore or whoever. Ive never in my life had to wait 2 hours to see a doctor here in USA. While in Denmark I experianced a leg injury and nobody said a thing to me for an hour then I was moved to another room where a man with blood all over his was waiting for the rest of the time there with me (sick). Ive broken my arm, had a jaw injury and a few other incedents here in the US and after the hospital / doctor visit I was at home by the next hour. Im not saying vote for one side or the other, Im only commenting on the Health issue. I urge you to look up BOTH Obama and McCain and decide not based on what your parents or friends say. This is a very serious matter, not a popularity contest where you'll end up bragging to your friends about who you voted for. Anyway good luck to you on your desicion and the Healthcare for you and your family : )

I personally hate both with a passion which is why I am not going to vote. Its not that I do not care to vote or I am just another kid; but rather I feel that I am only left with this thought when I even think about voiing for one of them... "do I really want the blood on my hands a year or two from now when one of those goons takes office and really starts to get the ball rolling"? Any my answer is "Hell No".
