I saw it when I was like 8 in the theatres. there was only one scene that scared the crap out of me and that was the last scene in the woods while the guy is in the corner as they enter the house and you have no idea how he got there, he's just like floating
It's not really all that scary, but it was a neat concept that had some potential. The style and genre never really took off though, at least not in horror movies.
Wow this is a sign from God or somethin. Yesterday out of boredom i was searching every single thing i could think of on Wikipedia and brought up TBWP. I never saw it but the synopsis scared the heck out of me. I'm home alone (not for much longer btw) and just a few minutes ago i literally searched every room of the house with all the lights on.
Also I discussed it with my sister and she said it wasn't scary either.
