What do you like most about the BSoD? I like it because it's a nice soothing blue and reminds you that your computer is falling apart. :D

I haven't seen a Bsod in a while, thats mostly because windows is now designed to reset just when it appears.

I used to make my computer do that. Because I liked waving at it, so my hand looked like it was moving slower than it was.

Last time I saw it was on my Windows 98.

The Vista error screens are scary. I had installed something I shouldnt have in the system files, and when I booted it up this morning the screen is all black with bold white letters. Big white bar on the bottom of the screen. So depressing

I usually get it because I need more RAM. Oblivion and Qwake Wars Beta can't handle it. I never really liked it because the sound would pop and the blue is too bright.

My favorite part is how it spits out random names and letters that mean absolutely nothing to me, but succeed at scaring the crap out of me. I think I remember some blue screens that said something like "critical system failure" or some other doomsday message. At least it's better than the black screen of (complete) death.

My company (which has its own low-level meta-OS that runs on the metal) avoids BSODs but turning the screen purple when a fatal exception happens ^_^

I get the blue screen of death every day. I turn on the computer, works for about five minutes, blue screens and restarts itself, and then once it restarts it's good for the rest of the day.

Sure, it means something is wrong, but after the inital BSOD the computer works pretty well.

Same here, life is good. :) Back then you'd get them spontaneously and they usually didn't even mean anything.. It was actually quite thrilling. :D

I used to get it everyday. I stopped playing some PC games (CoD2, BF2), and I've never had the issue again. I figured out it happens because of my video card.
